HOW IT BEGAN:
Emma Grace Wright is a budding filmmaker and entrepreneur. In 2014, she attended the Sundance Film Festival with her brother, Beau- who has Down syndrome and was a featured actor in one of the Festival films, Little Accidents. This eye-opening experience showed Emma Grace how the film industry rarely puts people with disabilities in film. She created the VALOREM Film Festival to give people with disabilities a voice in film. Through VALOREM, Emma Grace hopes that the film industry will take notice of the talent and relevance that people with disabilities bring to film.
